Strength and Conditioning

Strength & Conditioning classes are the heart of what we do at Compound. These 1 hour classes are designed to get/keep you strong, fit, healthy and ready for life. Through personal training within a group environment, we use functional movement to improve every aspect of fitness. You will regularly be asked to push, pull, squat, hinge, sprint, jump, swing, carry, stretch, laugh, support and most importantly HAVE FUN!

These classes are suitable for all abilities and fitness levels; from the absolute beginner through to the competitive athletes.

Box conditioning

Box Conditioning is a padwork class which focuses on developing your boxing skills, improving your cardiovascular fitness & coordination and increasing your muscular strength & endurance.

The class takes place every Wednesday 10:30-11:15am and 6:30-7:30pm and Fridays 10:30-11:15am.

Perfect for all fitness levels and abilities.

Nottingham Weightlifting Club

Compound Strength & Conditioning is affiliated to the British Weightlifting Association as Nottingham Weightlifting Club. We offer a 3 day a week Olympic Weightlifting program, with all 3 sessions closely coached by one of our experienced trainers. These classes are suitable for the complete beginner right through to the competitive athlete. These classes run:

Tuesdays 7:30pm – 9:00pm
Thursdays 7:30pm – 9:00pm
Saturdays 10:30am – 12:00pm

Strongman

Strongman is a monthly speciality session and one of our members favourites! It is designed for all fitness levels & abilities and is perfect for helping to develop and test your strength. Within these sessions you will be carrying, pulling, pushing and lifting heavy and challenging objects. We post the date & time for these with sessions with plenty of notice to make sure you can get them in your diary!

Calisthenics

Calisthenics is coached by Defying Gravity, aka Marcin, and is a monthly master class session designed to improve stability, mobility & strength using your own body weight.

Box Conditioning
